A Critical Essay on Edgar Allan Poeââ¬â¢s The Fall of the House of Usher (1
The twenty first century author Alexandra Iftodi Zamfir (1986- ) argues that ââ¬Å"architecture and settings are more important in Gothic fiction than in any other type of literatureâ⬠¦all architectural elements are closely connected with Gothic protagonists and the plot.â⬠(Zamfir. 2011: 15). This critical essay will first consider and analyse this statement and investigate the style, language and form of the American author Edgar Allan Poeââ¬â¢s (1809-1849) macabre and Gothic fictional prose The Fall of the House of Usher (1839) (Poe. 1987: 1). I shall present and argue how the artistic effects deployed in the narrative structure create an atmosphere of tension and suspense, through the exploration of architectural space demonstrated in a close reading and analysis from key passages of the text. The Fall of the House of Usher was written by the American author and poet Edgar Allan Poe, it first featured as a Gothic short story in Burtonââ¬â¢s Gentlemanââ¬â¢s Magazine in (1839) (Hayes. 2002: xvii). Poe was writing at a time of immense change to social, economic and cultural conditions following the technological advancements of the Industrial Revolution (1750-1850), his work on The Fall of the House of Usher could be said to show an impact of Western societyââ¬â¢s internal and external fragmentation. (Montagna: 2006). As stated by Zamfir ââ¬Å"the universe portrayed in the House of Usher is Poeââ¬â¢s most sublimeâ⬠¦in humanizing a dwelling to portray the inner self of the Gothic hero, but it also represents an investigation of the self in a state of disintegration.â⬠(Zamfir. 2011: 62). This process of disintegration is both reflected within the architectural structure of the house itself; as the building gradually corrodes, in addition to that of the ps... ..._of_Space_in_Gothic_Architecture. The Crucible Tone Paper
The Crucible Tone Paper In Arthur Millerââ¬â¢s book/play The Crucible, the tone he adopts towards the subject of witch trials and witch hunts, and towards the characters that maintain them, is carefully written. His ironic and cynical tones throughout the play poke fun at the religious officials doing what they thought was right, executing people they thought were witches. They also further the outlook on the lack of justice in a harsh, Puritan society. Miller continually uses irony in situations that led up to final accusations of witchcraft. In the events leading up to Elizabethââ¬â¢s conviction, she receives a poppet from Mary Warren with a needle in its stomach. When he found this, Cheever exclaims ââ¬Å"I never warranted to see such proof of Hellâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ This is ironic in the way that he was involved in the trials of convicting witches, and witches are proof of the Devil, and therefore, proof of Hell. Another example of irony is in Act II when John Proctor hands Danf orth a testament that people had signed declaring Rebecca Nurse, Martha Corey, and Elizabeth, good women.Proctor said ââ¬Å"â⬠¦sirââ¬âtheyââ¬â¢ve known the women many years and never saw no sign they had dealings with the devil. â⬠This testament was supposed to help the women get out of jail. It ultimately failed. A great example of irony is when Elizabeth Proctor lies about the affair that she knows that Abigail and John Proctor have. Judge Danforth asks her ââ¬Å"Is your husband a lecher? â⬠Elizabeth answers ââ¬Å"No, sir. â⬠This shows that Elizabeth did not want to confess about the affair. She was confused of what to say at times because she kept turning to John for what to say.I believe that this example is ironic mainly because it was said earlier in the book that Elizabeth had never told a lie, until now when she does lie about her Johnââ¬â¢s affair with Abigail. What is also ironic is the reason that this event happened. The judges needed s omebody to tell them something about Proctor that they did not know while Proctor was on trial. When Danforth tells Parris to go get Elizabeth, he asks John if she is of trust. John tells Danforth that Elizabeth had never told a lie, that she couldnââ¬â¢t tell a lie.I think that this is ironic because he said that Elizabeth could not tell a lie, and to his surprise, she did tell a lie, for him. The portrayals of Puritanism in The Crucible suggest attributes of stubbornness and their beliefs. An example of this is that the society of Salem likes to choose false religious values over logical assumptions. This is ironic because rather than listen to logic in their minds, they listen to the religious propaganda being shoved down their throats by Reverend Hale and Reverend Parris. These men are considered to be holy, and because they were holy, they were basically immune from being accused of witchcraft, as opposed to everyone else in Salem. For example, Reverend Hale states that â⬠Å"The manââ¬â¢s ordained; therefore the light of God is in him. â⬠Hale is referring to Reverend Parris, who in his eyes, was allowed to be overlooked as a victim of witchcraft because of his position in the religious society. He is said to be holy, but he is really lacking in his religious responsibilities by refusing to comfort the town when there was a commotion about the witchcraft. This is ironic because if everyone else can be accused of witchcraft, then they should be too. Everyone means everyone. Everyone doesnââ¬â¢t mean everyone minus a few select people. If we wanted to discuss Millerââ¬â¢s attitude towards the Salem Witch Trials, we could look to his words and see where his words express the ironic tone. His ironic tone throughout the book is constant. This irony proves to be what made it such a great book. Without the ironic under- and over-tones, you could hardly infer what he was really trying to say.

The Pros And Cons Of Homework - 1413 Words
ââ¬Å"Homework, which has long been a battleground among teachers, parents, and students, is coming under more scrutiny than ever as the divide grows between resistors and its proponentsâ⬠(Luke). Homework has been a part of every student s life since 1905 and recently has become a topic that people can not come to an agreement on. Students, teachers, and parents continually go back and forth everyday regarding the type of and amount of homework students receive. Although some people might think homework is beneficial, in fact, homework should be reduced because it can negatively affect a studentââ¬â¢s health and development. Homework is continuously used by schools because of the potentia l benefits it can offer students. Most of the time when people talk about benefits of homework they talk about academic benefits, however there is also nonacademic benefits. When students are given homework students must take it upon themselves to make sure they complete it. Through this they learn an important tool that is necessary in life, time management. Cooper emphasizes that homework can also lead to students improving their self-direction, self-discipline, and self-organization. When students take it upon themselves to get their work done they improve their independent problem solving skills, which can help them both in school settings and out in the world. Homework helps build studentsââ¬â¢ characters as well as improve their academic skills. Homework might appear to be beneficial when studies show students who do homework do better academically, however, there is a point at which homework has a negative effect on students. ââ¬Å"The purpose of homework is to reinforce the learning that takes place in school or prepare children for forthcoming lessons, which in theory, sounds ideal. Nora, the Aristotelian Tragic Hero - 800 Words
Dan Tamulonis Mrs. Munn English 11H 28 November 2011 Nora, the Aristotelian Tragic Hero Along with many great theories, Aristotle left the world with his own set of guidelines to defining the tragic hero. Many protagonists have been put through his test and been placed as tragic heroes or just heroes, but where they truly belong is up for debate. In A Dollââ¬â¢s House, by Henrik Ibsen, many characters could be put through the rigors of an examination based on Aristotleââ¬â¢s qualifications. According to Aristotle, Nora Helmer, the playââ¬â¢s protagonist, is a tragic hero, because her character traits are perfect examples of what contributes to a tragic hero. As defined by Aristotle, a tragic hero must be of noble stature and radiate greatness.â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Linde then brags about how successful her life has been so far and then distances their lives by stating that she has three children, when earlier it was revealed that Mrs. Linde has none. This rudeness is a major flaw in Noraââ¬â¢s make up as a character . Her vainness is definitely her tragic flaw because it eventually leads to Krogstad blackmailing her, which becomes worse when Torvald finds out. She wants to go to Italy so she takes out a loan from Krogstad without thinking about the consequences. Her incapability to look at the picture leads to unpleasant events in the future. According to Aristotle, the tragic hero must suffer misfortune due to their tragic flaw. Nora is does not differ from this aspect. Instead, she is insulted to the highest degree by Torvald. When he hears about the actions Nora has taken behind his back he is furious. Not just because it was done behind his back, but because it looks bad in the view of public. In Torvaldsââ¬â¢ eyes, this is the worst that could happen. As a result, he tries to make her feel isolated, ââ¬Å"But I shall not allow you to bring up the children; I dare not / trust them to youâ⬠(III, 72). The degree of misfortune that falls upon Nora is almost unimaginable. To threaten a wife with the separation from her kids is something that should never be done. Review Of Macbeth And The Heart Of The Sea
All novels, books or articles have what is called a Kairos, most readers do not try to discover the kairos of a book while others do. In this essay I will be uncovering the Kairos of three Books: Sailors to the End, MacBeth, and In the Heart of the Sea. The KAiros of book is the main turning point where the mood changes, or where the plot changes. Sailors to the End is a Book representing true heroic valor, it takes place on the U.S.S Forrestal when a fire consumes the ship claiming 134 sailors, and injuring another 161. The fire began when an electrical anomaly caused a Zuni Rocket to launch from a fighter jet, hitting John McCainââ¬â¢s plane while fueling. Captain Beling understood that he had to use these bombs for a mission the next day, so he allowed the bombs to be stored. Because, of the bomb transfer the mood changed, and the concern changed thus making this moment the turning point of the book. Another book that has a disaster become the Kairos is In the Heart of the Sea. In the Heart of the Sea, is a book that takes place on a whaling ship called the Essex at sea, the ship (and most of the crew) is from Nantucket, and laun ched to go to sea in 1819. There are many turning points in the book including the scene when the ship is flipped over. This is a major turning point because the crewââ¬â¢s attitudes change, and everyone now understands the risks of whaling. Although there are many reasons why this scene can be the Kairos, there is one incident that is more of a turning point than this one. The Kairos of the book takes place after the killer whale attacks the ship causing the Essex to slowly sink. This is the turning point because the mood, and attitudes change. In addition to the moods, and attitudes the entire course of the book changes. The characters need to survive at sea for over 40 days and they also need to do busy work to keep themselves sane. Some of the crew write in journals, and one of the crew members even turns string into twine. A Moment of Terror Essay Example For Students
A Moment of Terror Essay At the end of May, my family and I were faced with a moment of terror when my grandmother was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. To say I experienced a feeling of defeat is an understatement. I have never experienced seeing a family member suffer from cancer, and I could not imagine what it would be like seeing not only my grandmother, but also my best friend face something so difficult. I remember the phone call; I remember hearing her precious voice say, ââ¬Å"Lauren, God is going to heal me; please do not shed one tear because we serve a healing God. At that moment, I knew God was going to heal my grandmother, and she would overcome this cancer she was diagnosed with. Faith, hope, love, and peace allowed my grandmother to have a positive outlook on her diagnosis, and I know she would have never overcome this cancer without the healing hand of God. Faith is typically defined as a complete trust or confidence in something or someone. This definition speaks clearly to me personally because I witnessed faith on a new level throughout these past couple months. My grandmother, age seventy-two, was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer about five months ago. I was defeated and torn apart because I questioned why bad things happen to good people. My grandmother did not deserve this; she did not deserve to suffer with cancer. If anything, I should have been the one suffering. I told her that I would give anything in this world to be able to take her place, and she laughed. She told me that God gave her this obstacle for a reason: to strengthen not only her, but also my entire family. She said that she had faith in knowing God had already healed her even before she started chemo treatments. Her faith stood out among our family. It was her faith that allowed us to see the light through this dark tunnel and moment of terror. I truly believe her faith in God was the reason she was healed. God knew the whole time what He was doing. He was just trying to prove a point, and show everyone how much of a healer He really is. The word ââ¬Å"hopeâ⬠is also another verb that means a lot to my family and me because we had a feeling of expectation and desire that my grandmother would soon be cancer-free. Not only did my grandmother have high hopes, but my family did as well. My grandmotherââ¬â¢s attitude truly sparked the feeling of hope within my entire family. We started praying more because this diagnosis made us realize we had to make a change in our life. We realized God was trying to get our attention, and He did. God gave my family and me a wake-up call. I personally believe her diagnosis was a good thing, because I realized how special she truly was to me, and I did not need to take her for granted any longer. I felt as though she would always be here, on Earth, but facing this obstacle made me understand that her time is coming to an end. I should be calling or spending as much time with her as I possibly can because she is not promised tomorrow. Throughout my grandmotherââ¬â¢s cancer diagnosis, I learned how much I value the word ââ¬Å"love. â⬠Love is a feeling of affection one has for another, and I have never felt more loved than when my grandmother was going through chemo. All of my family and friends were constantly calling and checking on my grandmother. They were telling her how there is power in prayer, and I truly believe my grandmother would have never gotten through her cancer treatments without love from our family and friends. .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 , .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .postImageUrl , .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 , .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:hover , .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:visited , .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:active { border:0!important; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:active , .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8 .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ue48b28e8c966896fa98f5b12d409c8f8:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Willa Cather EssayShe would explain to me how much love she felt when people would simply call her or text her just to make sure she was having a good day. Cancer is a terrible diagnosis, and it does not only affect the person, but also the entire family. My family and I were determined to love my grandmother through her difficult time. We knew she needed us as her rock and salvation because she trusted God was going to heal her. What simply amazed my family and me was her love for God throughout the entire process. She never questioned Him because she had faith in knowing that everything happened for a reason. Still to this day, I consider my grandmother my role model because of her strength, dignity, and compassion. She could have given up many times, especially when times got tough, but instead, she kept a positive attitude. Her determination to beat this cancer was constant and unfailing, and in September, she did. After my grandmother was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, I started putting forth more time in my Bible studies because I knew God was the only person who could heal her. The doctors told her she would only live two years if she took chemo and only one year if she did not. I remember the moment of terror, finding out my precious grandmother would be suffering with some horrific diagnosis she did not deserve at all. After I began reading my Bible every night and praying for God to heal her, I was overwhelmed with a sense of peace. I knew this peace was sent from God because He had it all under control. I felt as though my grandmother was healed and that everything was going to be okay. God was trying to tell me something, and I knew exactly what it was. He was trying to tell me that if I put my faith in Him then He would perform a miracle on my grandmother, and He did. I still remember the time and place when my grandmother called to tell me she was cancer free. I was so overwhelmed with joy that I could not even speak. All I could do was thank God for performing such an amazing miracle on my grandmother. I could not help but give Him all the glory because I knew she would have never gotten through this without Godââ¬â¢s love and peace. Peace allowed me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even when I thought all hope was lost, God had a bigger plan. He knew she would have been an amazing angel in heaven, but He was fortunate enough to share her with us for a little longer. My life was changed forever when I received the devastating call from my grandmother, telling me she was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. At the time, all I could do was question God. I soon realized that what I thought was a curse only turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The devastating call, the dreadful visits to the cancer clinic for chemo, the talks about telling her goodbye, everything was all planned by God, the amazing healer. He knew exactly what He was doing, and my grandmother would have never gotten through cancer without faith, hope, love and peace. Four words that stand out among all. Each of these words has a special significance to my family and me because they helped us during a time in which all hope was lost but suddenly found. This test soon became her testimony. I truly believe this test was given to allow my family to grow together as one again. Family is the most important thing in life, and without family, I am nothing.

Strategy For Integration Of ICT Samples â⬠MyAssignmenthelp.com
Question: Discuss about the Strategy For Integration Of ICT. Answer: Introduction The current world is operating in a virtual age whereby information and communication technology (ICT) has dominated many sectors of the economy. More specifically, ICT refers to the processes which are used by businesses, individuals, governments, and organizations in operating in a virtual world. This makes it possible to process, analyze and sort out information to suit specific needs of the end user (Martnez-Caroal et al., 2015). The communication component involves the use of a medium in the expression of information, emotions, and ideas. Basically, the ICT integrates the audio as well as visual devices, techniques, and networks so that organizations, individuals, businesses, and governments can have a clear mode of interaction with each other (Morgado et al., 2014). However, it is worth noting that the tools that are used in ICT undergo progressive upgrades. For instance, traditionally, the transistors were used for communication and upgraded to use of radios and currently, the re are artificial intelligence and robotic technologies. With the continued use of ICT for the advancement of social, political and economic development, the whole world is becoming connected by just a click. This has aided in both interpersonal as well as intrapersonal communication globally (Clark Mayer, 2016). The advancement of technology and modern medium of communication has drastically changed the life of everyone. This millennium thus calls for expanded use of social media and hence the need for using ICT by all people. If ICT is applied in education, there are likely to be significant improvements in communication knowledge as a strong relationship is created between the students and their teachers. The use of ICT in education is thus of great importance for both teachers and learners. This report discusses the use of ICT in teaching, curriculum plan, and individual pedagogical approaches. Literature Review The importance of ICT in education cannot be underestimated because it has profound effects globally. According to Archer and Hughes (2011), education a transformative aspect of the society such that ICT complements educational delivery in learning institutions. Therefore, if education is integrated with ICT, the curriculum can be updated to foster various skills according to societal needs. ICT has already provided a paradigm in education in the current century. Use of computers and internet has made learning and teaching so interesting due to the wide media that is available for use. Bearing in mind of the shortage of skilled teachers, ICT has provided an option whereby online classes can be used instead of depending on actual teachers. Online classes make people make collaborations enables sharing of content across the world among pupils and teachers. It is also sufficient to note that the young generation in this century is surrounded by tools in information technology. This means that it becomes easy for them to easily integrate studies with ICT. The blending of education with ICT has contributed to a rise in the protocols of taking distance learning. This is because ICT has removed a negative notion that has been circulating in castigation of the distance learning (Surjono, 2014). At the moment, the use of information technologies such that many subjects can be taught with increased flexibility of the curriculum to meet the learners' needs. This report also notes the problems that the process of digitalizing the education sector and more specifically the classroom faces. Of great importance is that the teachers have a negative perception that digitalization and technology could probably lead to a replacement of teachers in the near future. However, this can be termed as a misconception simply because presently, there is still a high shortage of both trained as well as skilled teachers in the technology sector. It is therefore important to understand that the use of technology in education is critical for enhancing communication between teachers and students and not replacing the services of teachers. Seemingly, the reverse of the existing misconception could be true because the technology requires the input of teachers for ease of content delivery (Juuti, 2016). Another challenge which exists in the integration of technology in education is lack of technologically trained teachers. This means that most teachers do not u se the available technological resources at a full capacity as compared to other countries. My understanding of ICT in education Considering the foundation of the orderly approach as used in learning and giving of instructions, there is a rise in class learning which reflects four variables in education. These include Responsibilities- when offering education, there is a need for creating a meaning in the relevant topics being handled. This means that the teachers need to be fully aware of the student' and societal expectations when teaching to enhance a high level of understanding (Caball Claris, 2016). understanding of responsibilities by teachers should be connected to step 4 (constructive and noting methods) and step 6 (mass introduction and extra contributions made by the educator). Reflectivity- this refers to the ability of the teachers to have thoughts concerning giving instructions. This means that their conscious should enable them to synchronize education process alongside the learning styles of the pupils (Gikandi, 2013). More precisely, the recorded reflectivity is very important in creating knowledge on the various styles of learning and how the actual learning occurs. in the human brain, the left cerebellum has a high level of reflectivity indicating that the intelligence factor should be connected in step 1 (the provisions of a lesson design, class participation, and past lesson designs) and step 7 (gauges the aims of offering learning and instructions as well as the intended results). This learning framework should be assessed, considered and facilitated through school organization, education, and learning. Creativity: this refers to making a promise to produce new information, ideas and thoughts from some other information. The impacts of creativity in learning is that it has led to an expansion in the modern learning abilities. In this case, the educators need to invigorate and empower imaginations in beneficial ways (Lee Jin, 2015). As a result, the inventor mind should be linked to step 2 (the set enlistment). Moreover, at step 8 (conclusion and homework), the creativity and invention become critical for development, delivery, and enhancement to maintain the quality of digital learning. Cooperation- in order to support investments among their colleagues, teachers need to have a high level of cooperation. For instance, it is clear that associating in meetings and gatherings enhances self-directness and raises the esteem of the members' ideas progressively and include a group (Gruner, 2016). The cooperation factor is linked to step 3 (the co-working during learning in the classroom) and step 5 (assembled talking related to class work). The teachers and learners should have an open mind concerning the specific use of ICT in educational training (McGill et al., 2014). The unique thing with the current generation is that the young people are able to capture things faster and in a different way than their parents could have done. There is also a need for developing and taking care of digital systems, sensitivity and social aptitudes in various organizations. My teaching Philosophy Generally, teaching can be viewed as a relationship between a mentor and a student. As such, a teacher needs to facilitate and lead classroom activities by use of ICT. The teachers also need to understand that the incorporation of ICT in education does not undermine the critical roles of teachers but rather improves their understanding (Lee Jin, 2015). It is therefore important that teachers come up with new methods of teaching by use of e-learning by use of their individual skills to help the students, especially the weak ones. This is important because a teacher has a duty so that by the end of the lesson, the students can be on the same page and not lag behind. Some of the students also require some visual form of learning because it is termed as one of the best methods of learning, bearing in mind that they leave long-lasting memories to learners. In the development of the instructional curriculum, therefore, it is important to consider using devices such as projectors. It is worth making the students to understand the various teaching methods and train students to help other students as well. It is also worth noting that students are also likely to learn more from their peers as opposed to the normal teaching because they can easily make discussions as they ask questions. Reddy Kumar, (2014) argues that use of ICT tools has enabled the dissemination of a high amount of digital content and thus the teachers do not have to keep repeating the process if annual lesson preparations. ICT also makes it possible to present digital content in various formats such as visual, audio, graphics and texts to meet the various needs of various people. This also reduces the amount of time that the students need to get proper content mastery. The digital integration of education makes learning easy for the disabled children because they can access information with less strain. E-learning plan Since teaching has been practiced for a long period of time, the balance between the student and the teacher changes as the student grows up. Therefore, the spread of knowledge through teaching requires the use of specialized skills such that not anyone who is not an expert can deliver the required content to impart knowledge. To achieve e-learning, the teachers need to be properly trained so that they can maximize the use of the ICT facilities at their disposal (Balta Duran, 2015). Each teacher should be provided ample time to the respective learning institution so that they can effectively understand the technical aspects and be able to pass the content to the children. The training on teachers should be carried out on the basis of the subject expertise (Cherner et al., 2014). The idea of teachers being replaced by technology should be wiped out and the teachers should learn to use the technology at disposal to enhance their teaching abilities. Interactive whiteboard Although the initial installation of an interactive whiteboard is quite expensive, it is widely used for ICT as a digital device which is attached to the laptop or tablet and can be easily moved according to the individual needs of the teachers to make learning easy. It serves the same purpose as a traditional blackboard (Mangano et al., 2014). The content on the interactive white boars can be erased and also be saved for further reading. Upon installation, the teacher then receives a thorough training to be able to use it well. The training should be conducted while the students are out for vacations so that it does not interfere with the normal school curriculum. It is also advisable that the e-learning program is introduced to the students at the start of a new academic session as opposed to the mid of a session. Audiovisual devices The rise in the use of audiovisual systems in e-learning has been contributed by the fact that these devices are now becoming more affordable. For instance, if a lecture is accompanied by a video clip, it becomes easier for a student to remember as opposed to the conventional lectures (De-Marcos et al., 2014). In this case, it would be effective to use the whiteboard as a teaching mode, visual learning is always beneficially having a good impact on the memory of a student. Social media At the present generation, the wide use of internet connection and social media has been a revolutionary occurrence. The social media has been important especially for the success of the social media in distance learning. An example of the social media apps includes the google plus and google hangouts in educational reasons. For instance, when seminars are held, people can be invited to join in from different parts of the world. In this case, one does not need to be physically present and can join through Skype or other media (Hirsh-Pasek et al., 2015). Google classroom There exist several free applications that the students and educators can use for learning. However, Google has brought about an exclusive application for teaching purposes. This saves time and cost for the students and teachers because the papers can be submitted with ease (Shaharanee et al., 2016). Using Google classroom, a student is able to work in an organized way by keeping the curriculum on track and submission of assignments. In this case, I would use google classroom technology to send notes and other study material among students and google classroom is the secure mode of learning as most of the information is online. Justification of my strategy This plan has been created in an effort to increase the confidence of students so that they can learn more and get an opportunity to understand the advances in technology. Therefore, the student will be able to interact freely with teachers and fellow students and get the necessary help. The strategic plan also designed to approach individual needs especially new concepts. As two students are not the same and have different learning capabilities (Juuti, 2016). The technological programs would attend individual need and increase the level of understanding among students. This strategic plan contains technological applications that offer interesting features that are ready to understand and use especially in the developing countries. Since they are designed to cater for each student, the learners have the basic knowledge for their uses. The ICT makes the students to develop high levels of confidence so that the teacher-student relationship can be strong enough (Surjono, 2014). These IC T technologies also make it easy for the teachers to interact with the students and mentor other fellow students. Conclusion The notable differences between animal's ad human beings are that humans have a conscious mind and hence the ability to learn and adopt changes. Since knowledge offers empowerment for a better life, the teachers are very important to humans from a small age to an old age. Technology has played a profound role in the ways and rates at which people learn. ICT has been of great importance to the education system globally although some people may argue that the traditional way is more effective, this is just but a subjective behavior because it depends on the prevailing conditions. Based on the overall plan, the adoption of ICT in the current curriculum cannot be avoided. This clearly means that the ICT is very important in education systems. References Archer, A., Hughes, C.
